(Artist: Rise Against)

Tonight MTV airs the Special 'It Gets Better'. It's an in-depth look into the reality of bullying within the LBGT community. The 'It Gets Better Project' was created to remind LGBT teens across the country that no matter how hard things may seem, life does get better. One particular artist that has a fierce passion on this subject is Chicago rock outfit  Rise Against . Last Spring, Rise Against released a powerful video with a distinct message against bullying. The video for their song "Make It Stop (September's Children)" was actually filmed at Rolling Meadows High School where Rise Against singer Tim McIlrath went to school. It was created in partnership with the LGBT support project It Gets Better. "Make It Stop," a response to the increased number of LGBT teen suicides follows three young people's struggles with bullying at school--struggles that bring them within moments of ending their own lives.

You gotta hand it to a guy that has single-handily built an illustrious career from the ground up. Jack White cut his teeth in his own musically rich native Detroit. A road paved by The Stooges, The Frost, MC5, and Frijid Pink. Along the journey he absorbed the spirits of the Southern Blues legends such as Son House. Jack has always had one foot in the raw power of Rock N Roll world and one foot in the Blues. The marriage of those two have made Jack a powerful force to be reckoned with. Countless albums, 45's, and a launch of his own Nashville based record label Third Man Records. He's of a dying breed that fosters meticulous musicianship.  His creation of Third Man Records has definitely taken a cue from Sun Records. The notion that an artist can walk in the front door with an idea and walk out the backdoor with a feeling of accomplishment and support is pretty incredible in this day and age.

Jack's first solo album, Blunderbuss, is due April 23rd in the U.S. His first single 'Love Interruption' is out now. Take a peek at the new video below

UK band Stealing Signs have been creating a buzz throughout MTV shows with several key music placements. They're quickly becoming a go-to artist when it comes to needing impactful songs for shows like Jersey Shore. They've recently been earning some key radio spots in their own backyard on powerhouses like XFM and Radio 1.

++ Buy their new EP "Luxembourg" here ++

The band recently sat down with Soundtrack for a quick interview:

ST: What did MTV mean to you when you were growing up?  What does it mean to you now?

SS: My memories of MTV growing up are of attractive girls dancing whilst wearing denim short shorts, MTV crop tops and sun glasses. I see MTV now as an iconic figure that has helped launch the careers of many bands with the added bonus of attractive girls wearing short shorts, crop tops and sun glasses.

ST: What artist/band has influenced you the most?

SS: The Foo Fighters are probably the biggest influence on our band. Their music doesn't always effect our 'sound', instead I would say that we are more influenced by their stage presence and musical values.

ST: If you could work with any artist alive or dead, who would you pick?

SS: Obviously we would work with Michael Jackson. The guy was built to write and perform music! Who wouldn't want to work with him? Plus, you could learn some fricking awesome dance moves at the same time.

ST: If you could be known for only one of your songs, which would you choose and why?

SS: I think 'Stampede'. The song has got a light and a dark side. It shows off our dynamic abilities as a band. I think the lyrics are easily relatable to a huge number of situations as well. If we were only known for one song, I'd want it to be massively ambidextrous and that's 'Stampede'
